Candy Moulton is a member of the Lake Worth Writers' Club and Western Writers of America. Candy is the author of several books on Western history including Chief Joseph: Guardian of the People, winner of the 2006 Spur Award for Best Biography.

Dusty Richards is a member of Lake Worth Writers' Club and Western Writers of America. This year, his 65th book will have been published under his own name and pseudonyms. That does not count his five dozen plus short stories and hundreds of articles and columns. It is said that he has the fastest growing popularity of any Western writer in the business. In 2007 he picked up two Spur Awards for Best Paperback Novel and Best Short Fiction.

D. J. Bishop Writer - Author - Speaker - is a member of the Lake Worth Writers' Club and  Western Writers of America. He lives in Lake Worth, Texas with his wife Carolyn and two dogs Pugsly and Nikki, He is the Author of eleven Western novels including: Luke Ludd, Showdown at Deer Creek, and Sheriff Luke Ludd, a children book, and serveal short stories.

David Davis - Writer - Speaker - Cartoonist - Is a member of Lake Worth Writers' Club. David established himself as a writer of humor that appeals to both children and adults.  His book Jazz Cats was a 2002 International Reading Association/Children's Book Council Children's Choice Top 100 selection. His counting picture book Ten Redneck Babies was a 2005 International Reading Association/Children's Book Council Children's Choice Top 100 Selection. David lives in Fort Worth, Texas. He makes regular school, library, and conference presentations.

Jan Peck is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the past Regional Advisor and President for the North Central/ Northeast Texas Chapter and has been a freelance editor for Boys' Life magazine. Author of: The Giant Carrot, The Ballerina Princess, The First Christmas, The Time Travelers, Way Down Deep in the Deep Blue Sea, and Way Up High in a Tall Green Tree.

Johnny D. Boggs is a member of Lake Worth Writers' Club and Western Writers' of America. Booklist has called Johnny "among the best western writers at work today."  He has won the prestigious Spur Award from Western Writers' of America twice, in 2006 for his novel Cam Ford, and in 2002 for his short story "A Piano at Dead Man's Crossing." His novels Ten and Me and The Hart Brand were Spur finalists in 2000 and 2007, and he won the Western Heritage Wrangler Award in 2004 for his novel Spark on the Prairie.

Dr. J'Nell L. Pate, is a member of  Western Writers of America. Author of:  Livestock Legacy The Fort Worth Stockyards 1887-1987; America's Historic Stockyards Livestock Hotels; and Ranald Slidell Mackenzie Brave Cavalry Colonel.  In addition she has written North of the River a brief history of North Fort Worth, and Hazel Vaughn Leigh and the Fort Worth Boys' Club. She also has written a history column since 1968 in her local newspaper, The Azle News, entitled "Pages From Western History.

Stan Irvin is a member of the Lake Worth Writers' Club and a Graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Earned MA and PhD in Project Management through remote, off campus learning.  Worked for and with several different companies over the past 32 years in a direct and consulting capacity.  Selected for national and international (South Africa, Indonesia) project management assignments for commercial, industrial, government, and software IT enterprises.  Developed, practiced, and presented seminars on project management. C. K. Crigger is a member of Lake Worth Writers’ Club. She loves history, fantasy and the unexplained, and often blends these elements in her stories. She is a member of Western Writers of America and had the honor of hosting the organization's annual convention in Spokane Valley, WA in June of 2005. She is the Author of several books including The Gunsmith Time-travel Series, Black Crossing, Liar's Trail, The Prince's Cousin, and The Winning Hand.

Corinne Joy Brown is a member of the Lake Worth Writers’ Club and Western Writers’ of America. Author of: MacGregor's Lantern and Sanctuary Ranch which she co-authored with Junior Michael Ray. She is a staff writer for Persimmon Hill, the magazine of the National Cowboy Museum and Western Heritage Center in Oklahoma City, she writes about people, places and events in the region, including arts, literature, and western culture. She also writes for Western & English Today, American Cowboy and The Horse Connection.
